Lead Fitter
Key responsibilities:
- Attend sites punctually and represent the company with high ethical standards
- Ability to interpret and implement fitting instructions.
- Ability to provide guidance for junior team members.
- Ability to cut in and fit spindles and continuous handrails.
- Ability to transport safely and install staircases.
- Be able to complete a client’s snagging works list.
Qualification & Experience:
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (Required).
- Driving license + own van (Required).
- Work Tools such as Table Saws, Bandsaws, Routers, Chop saws, Over-hand Planer (Required).
- NVQ in qualified in Carpentry or Joinery Level 3 (Preferable).
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of accuracy.
- Good mathematical skills for taking measurements.
- Creative and good eye for design.
- Able to work alone without guidance.
- Works efficiently as part of a team.
Other Duties:
- Providing a positive and professional client experience at all times.
- Ensure that relevant service standards are delivered throughout the year.
- Ensure all work is followed up promptly in line with company standards.
- Assist in the implementation of agreed action points.
Remuneration:
- Basic day rate up to £170.00 depending on ability.
- Remuneration will be negotiable.
- Daily expenses covered proving receipts.
Stair Builder
Key responsibilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of the stair building process.
- Ability to provide guidance for junior team members.
- Knowledge of spindle molders and setting cutters.
- Ability to draw geometric face mold patterns.
- Interpret production drawings and implementing cut-lists.
- Ability to mark up and set out stairs on strings.
- Complete a dry assembly prior to site fitting.
- Willingness to attend on-site (If necessary)
Qualification & Experience:
